Hey FIFA Fans, The latest title update for FIFA 19 is now available and includes the changes below. For more details on some of these changes, please check out The Pitch Notes article.

It goes without saying that - although some are impressive - a lot of the FIFA 19 player faces could do with some work. It was much worse at the start of the game though, because since then EA Sports has updated a number of players in FIFA 19 to be more like the real person. Jesse Lingard and Wilfried Zaha are two examples of top flight players that really looked nothing like the player they were supposed to be based on.

That top-flight twosome covers a tiny part of the updated FIFA 19 player faces catalogue. In all 69 players have been updated so far, the most recent being Jadon Sancho of Borussia Dortmund. (The England international also tops the FIFA 19 winter upgrades list.) Promoted sides Wolves, Cardiff and Fulham all get comprehensive makeovers as part of the EA’s Premier League license, too.
Below you’ll see the 12 best new FIFA 19 player faces, followed by a full list of all refreshed players. Should any further updates occur before season's end, we'll of course update this list once again.

Wilfried Zaha (Crystal Palace)

Film boyka 1 in romana. Premier League fans love to hate the Palace man, or at least pretend to – I’d say more than 40% of teams I meet online have the silky-skilled Ivorian deployed up front. Whatever your feelings on the Eagles’ talisman, there can be no doubt over this new likeness. With hairstyle spot-on and neck tattoos updated, it’s one of the best FIFA player faces we have ever seen.

Gareth Bale (Real Madrid)

Hardly a drastic overhaul for the flying Welshman, but still a pleasing one – his facial hair has had a trim, his cheekbones have been accentuated, and the loose locks around that famous manbun made even messier. This is the sort of incremental update you’d hope all major players would have annually – start a game with Arsenal and check out Hector Bellerin to see why.

Son Heung-Min (Tottenham)

The Korean forward’s update is similar to Bale’s: a haircut and some work on his top lip bum-fluff, rather than a full overhaul. With Serge Aurier and Davison Sanchez added over the summer, the entire Spurs first-team squad now has realistic likenesses – and you can play at their new stadium before it’s even opened in real life, as explained in our FIFA 19 stadiums guide.

Diego Costa (Atletico Madrid)

Zaha may split opinion among the global footballing fanbase, but he has a long way to go to catch the sport’s ultimate pantomime villain. EA’s new Costa likeness gives off the aura of a WWE heel, with his menacing stare and eight-days-unshaven facial foliage captured impeccably. Dab after scoring with this dude in Divisional Rivals to trigger peak FIFA rage.

Dennis Odoi (Fulham)

Don’t be surprised if you come up against Odoi online this season. While he’s only scored 69 overall, a pace rating of 82 makes him tempting for teams who play three at the back, where his speed can cover for other deficiencies. I plan to experiment with him in my Premier League ‘fitness’ team for that very reason. Okay, that and a goatee realistic enough to stroke through the TV screen.

Steven Sessegnon (Fulham)

Fulham initially received more updated player faces than any other club: 13 in total, including the previously mentioned Odoi, and Steven Sessegnon, twin brother of 2017/18 hero Ryan Sessegnon. Which was especially curious as the latter didn't get a scanned face in the initial November update, despite being widely considered the West London side’s best player. However…

Ryan Sessegnon (Fulham)

There he is! Curiously, Fulham fans were made to wait an extra couple of weeks for the more famous Sessegnon to receive an official likeness, but it finally dropped at November's end – as we reported at the time. He formed part of a second batch of Cottagers that also included Tim Ream, Cyrus Christie, and Aboubakar Kamara – who's since departed the club for a loan spell at Turkish side Yeni Malatyaspor.

Neil Etheridge (Cardiff)

Sporting a haircut that you’d describe as ‘sharp’ in every possible sense, Etheridge instantly became one of FIFA 19’s best-looking goalkeepers – just be warned that his virtual abilities aren’t quite so flattering. Also new from Cardiff in the first update were Joe Bennett, Kadeem Harris, Sean Morrison, Josh Murphy, Callum Peterson, Joe Ralls, and Bobby Reid, with seven more players added a fortnight later.

Joao Moutinho (Wolves)

Wolves’ summer signing showcases the power of the Premier League within FIFA. Throughout his five-year stint at Monaco – one of the world’s biggest clubs – fans clamoured for the Portuguese midfielder to be scanned, to no avail. Yet within four months of crossing the Channel to sign for Wolves his real face is in. Great news for West Midlanders, but you can see why Ligue 1 fans feel spurned.

Jesse Lingard (Manchester United)

Lingard’s lobbying of EA, which began following the release of the FIFA 18 World Cup faces update, finally had the desired effect. His new scan has a squarer jawline than last year’s, with more bouffant hair to match his real-life ‘do. United fans get two for the price of one here, with young striker Joshua Bohui also added for the first time.

Presnel Kimpembe (Paris St Germain)

It’s not the Frenchman’s robust defensive qualities which make him stand out among the 69 players below – but a human-beacon hairstyle visible from the Eiffel Tower. Kimpembe’s blonde barnet turns him into the leading light on any Ultimate Team roster, and he’s a solid foundation for your Ligue 1, or all-French, side.

Mauro Icardi (Inter Milan)

The second November update placed a big emphasis on the Premier League, with promoted clubs having been scanned throughout the summer of 2018. But some European favourites nabbed new FIFA 19 player faces too. Inter forward Icardi's updated likeness delighted fans, as did those of Daniele Rugani (Juventus), Ever Banega (Sevilla) and Diego Godin (Atletico Madrid).

  Hey EA, first thank you for the effort in making the game better, but after all I continue having the same problems, in my career mode (Player) some teams haven't the alternative shirts, Chelsea for example, my player is playing in the team and there are just the blue and yellow shirts, and more teams have the same problem, like Barcelona and PSG. And in some cases when my player is presented his face looks very tiny, please fix it.

  You get to hear the chants from the supporters of the team which stadium you are playing it, so you're probably playing on the Parc des Princes. In my experience I've no complaints about the environment.. if I play vs Juve in its Allianz Stadium (don't confuse with Allianz Arena) I can clearly hear their fans chants (..della Juve siam gli ultras..)

  This year I really appreciate the responsiveness and effort to make the game improve and I am enjoying it more than usual.
  I have a question about suggestions: is there any place just devoted to it? Like a Uservoice page for Fifa?
  Since I don't know the answer I will put my little request here, I hope it doesn't bother too much.
  Is it possible to consider removing the confirmation box that appears before a match in FUT when you enter the team formation screen? (plese refer to the attached image here).
  In terms of user interface it just adds an unuseful click since all of the options would be present and accessible even without it.

  Just made the update and this issue in career mode. I’m pretty mad with this. I'm supossed to have 136 Goals in the League and they're only counting 15 of them after the update, which means the players I assisted with the 53 assists are the TOP Scorers right now. This is madness. You need to fix this.

  Thank you for scanning more heads it makes the game so much more authentic. Any idea if you’ll scan even more key players? Fabinho is an 85 overall, plays in the prem, but doesn’t have a facescan. Seems odd

  We've had this reported before and have checked it and confirmed the correct songs are playing in both stadiums.
  They do sound quite similar though which may be why it sounds like they're playing the wrong one.

  Please, can you answer will you fix the camera problem where changing height and zoom sliders does not have any effect for many stadiums like Stamford Bridge, and many others. This problem has been present in Fifa for a few years, you can't set the position of the camera you want. I play on PC, I don't know about consoles. And will you add Jorginho face and other star players in the next update. Thank you.

  Have you considered looking at the way the game is built?
  That defender is attacked by 2-3 players is not very realistic and monotonous. Gegenpress is played by a handful of clubs in the world and not at all that way. Nothing against it but then it has to be done in a different way. Even Liverpool does not run around the track for 90 minutes as a bunch of rabbits in search of the last carrot of the year. Variation itself in the individual names such as gegenpress. The same with Ronaldo, the man made a unique scissors goal against Juve, which of course you could not help implying in the game. Fair enough, but when my League 2 player running around and kicking one scissors kick after another, destroying it completely realism. It has changed with patch, but the point in will be better not to generalize skills and gaming systems, etc
  So the question is..
  Should everyone have the same value, or can you create a unique person ID or what we call it now. Your Player Instructions do not work. Have tested them in both 17- 18 and 19, most descriptions are ignored and are therefore worthless, just as your tactics value was 1-99, as you yourself acknowledged.

  First of all, I would like to thank you for your continued efforts to improve FIFA!
  My first impression was not positive about FIFA 19. I played FIFA since 2011, and I consider that I had to relearn to play in 2019. The game is very different. However, over the course of days I understood the logic of the new release and began to evaluate the game as it is.
  After the 3rd update some problems I noticed playing were resolved.
  But I still have some weird things to share with you, focused on career mode, which is my preferred way of playing.
  I played five seasons with Real Valladolid on a professional level, and I can guarantee that it is impossible to win with a 'small' club.
  It looks like the machine is holding you back so you cannot reach the goal higher than what was set for the season.
  For example, if my goal in the season is just to keep the team in the first division, it is practically impossible to approach the UCL classification zone.
  Next season, if your goal is to qualify in the next UCL, matches will be easier and so on.
  The other big 'problem' I identified in the game is the amount of balls on the crossbar .. It's unbelievable .. I had 6 balls hitting the crossbar in the same game for example, and what is worse, in most situations the opponent marks goal in the next throw.
  The first time this happened, I thought 'okay, that was a coincidence.' But after playing over 200 matches, I realized that this is almost a rule. My ball hits the beam, and the other team scores in sequence.
  I was a little sad with these situations, because I like to start a career with small clubs and make them achieve great achievements. But then again, I know you're doing your best to improve the game.

  @EA_Andy Auto control is the worst thing in the game! If you win 3-0 in the first half you start to miss with 5 meters-blame auto control! If you are winning 1-0 and the opponent scores you longshot in the 90th minute - blame auto control! Complain that goalies are useless in the game - blame the auto-control. Because if auto-control directs the ball to the corner of the goal-the goalkeeper has no chance! Players absolutely do not aim! They beat in the direction of the gate and the computer will depend on the goal or not! How then can you talk about the skill of the player?! On the Internet there are tutorials from what points on the field and how to shoot to score a goal - blame auto control! The result-we have to control the shots! Only we should depend upon will be a goal or not. The game will be much more interesting and fair! Auto-control should only stay for friendly matches! There is a direction arrow on impact. It is necessary that the ball flew exactly on this arrow! Is it difficult for you?! You can not and will not be able to find a balance! Either everyone complains that it's too easy to score or it's too hard to score. Cry that 3 meters is not scored or that constantly fly long shots! Give control shots to us! Only from us will depend we will score or not!
