Resident Evil 4 Cheat Sheet

Unlockables

GGMania cheat library. Resident Evil 4 [PSX] Easy kills. After three or four shots, they will go down. Shoot it in the sheet until there is a hole. Then, shoot its head. After that, the body will explode then the legs will fall over and leave 5,000 gold. Additionally, another way to kill the Regenerator creatures is to shoot their head.
Upon completing the game, players stand the chance of unlocking new items that will appear in subsequent playthroughs or in any file loaded thereafter. These items will always appear in your Storage Box, and can be used at any time.
The following unlocks have been confirmed by Capcom.

Spot the Traps

At certain points in the game - and in Ethan Must Die, you may run into place where crates containing items may not contain items at all - and instead will explode upon breaking. While you might be able to hear a faint ticking if you get real close, and easy method to finding out if the crate is rigged is to use Psychostimulants or X-Ray Glasses. These items create small dots where any item is located, and if you spot a crate with no dot inside, you can safely assume that it is rigged to explode.
The REmake randomizer mod made me stop, go to the store, and buy a notepad so I could write stuff down
I can't overstate how much fun the randomizer mod by Benn Powell is. It randomizes (almost) every item in the entire game, like you'd expect - to the point that it might be a long time before you even find the Handgun as Chris.
When you download and unpack the mod, you run a utility that will ask for what difficulty and character you want to play as (Normal or Hard, and Hard of course can work with Real Survival too), and it generates a text file that tells the mod utility how to replace items.. and it also generates a plaintext cheat sheet in case you get stuck. Unless you generate a new item layout, you'll continue to use the same item layout - so even if you die, at least you've learned where some items are and can adjust your route for your next attempt.
It often leads to sometimes crazy amounts of sequence breaking.. and a lot of backtracking. I'd recommend pairing it with the no doors mod (which removes the little cinematic door-opening scenes in favor of brief black screens as you transition from room to room) simply because you will probably spend a lot of time running back and forth as you learn how items are laid out and begin to work towards actually completing the game. Note that events still only happen when their specific trigger is met; hunters won't appear until after you re-enter the mansion and Plant 42 is dead, even if you go outside very early, and Barry/Wesker won't give you goodies or fix the door until after you get the Armor Key or kill Plant 42.

To give you an idea of how my current Chris (Hard) seed is, this is how my run opens:
I get the Book of Curses instead of the handgun.

Early exploration in sword-locked rooms and the murder hall gets me the square crank and stone & metal object.. so I can go to the residence barely a few minutes into the game. I haven't yet, because I don't want to risk getting bit by those fucking sneks and poisoned (at least, not until I know where the battery is so I can fix the elevator.. of course, it might in the residence..) and because the only guaranteed location of blue herbs is the planter in that little mirror room in the helmet-locked area.
The helmet key is right outside the 'mash you between paintings' room. Convenient! I wonder what's in the fireplace instead of the helmet key.
Because I find the sword key and helmet key almost immediately, I'm knifing Yawn 2 to death (which is very easy, just time consuming) like five minutes into my run.. and I get the Wind Crest instead of the wolf medallion.
The (thankfully empty) fuel canister is in a random drawer instead of some ink ribbons.
Finding tons of handgun ammo and shotgun shells, but no handgun or shotgun! The shotgun is where you normally find it (I believe it's one of the items that isn't randomized), but there's no guarantee I'll find the broken shotgun in the usual place and I still haven't found a single old key yet.
It really pushes you on-the-fly routing and monster avoidance abilities to their limit. It's the first game in a really long time that's made me have to stop and go get a notebook to keep track of things without me having to do something like go into an options menu and disable objective trackers, minimaps, helper features, etc.
It's really great and I emphatically recommend it to anyone that's familiar with REmake. I further recommend you play it on one difficulty notch higher than you're normally comfortable with. Minecraft free download full version windows 10. If you're sketchy on Hard, play it on Hard. Real Survival is turning out to be pretty fun, and incredibly tough - I don't even want to think about having to backtrack after hunters start replacing zombies.
